More artwork from our students

I promised to post more artwork from our students so here we go. This portrait is made by Marianne during our sunday classes. Before that, she followed one of our photorealistic portrait workshops.

Right now she’s working on a new painting and by the looks of it, she’s aiming for the stars. I admire her for that, and I can’t wait to see that new painting finished so I can show it to you as well. Maybe I might show you a sneak peek later…. but not now.

In the mean time, I hope you all enjoy Marianne’s latest portrait, shown here below:

Childhood memories

A while ago Marissa told me about a song she loved when she was 4 years old. It involved singing frogs (why didn’t that surprise me :) ) and behold, during Christmas she also heard it on the radio. I was able to track it down on youtube and today she played it all night long.

Pom, pom, pom….

This one is for you, princess!

A gift worth showing to the world…

This portrait is made by one of our students, Mark Van De Put. Mark has attended a photorealism class and after that, he tagged along with our ‘guidance sundays’. These are classes where people who have already been following one of our workshops can come in and work on a painting of their choice also using a technique of their choice.

This painting was a gift to one of his family members.  Awesome painting Mark!

Happy holidays everyone!

More snow…

Today is sunday, and we are in the 3th day of our last workshop  for this year. It’s cozy and warm inside and very cold but also extremely beautiful outside. It’s been ages since it has snowed that much and I actually sneaked outside today to ‘pepper’ my mother. She lives two streets away from here, and when I knocked onto her outside window, she should not have opened it.

My snowball hit her in the middle of her face. Sorry mum – I couldn’t resist :-)

Seagulls were souring around in the back gardens today, searching for food. We don’t live that far away from the harbor and occasionally, when it becomes harder for them to find food, they come here. We also have a nest of  Titmice, very unusual for this time of year, but they decided to stay here because we feed them.

We’re probably going to have a white Christmas after all!
